# Karotenoidid (E 160a) Karotenoidid on loodusliku päritoluga värvained, mida leidub peamiselt apelsinides, porgandites ja muudes kollakates ning punakas värvi taimedes. Neid kasutatakse toiduainetes loomulikuks kollase ja oranži värvuse andmiseks ning neile on omane ka positiivne mõju inimese tervisele, kuna keha muundab need A-vitamiiniks. Seda toidulisandit võib kasutada mitmetel toidul, kuid tingitud on kindlate regulatsioonidega.
